In late June, LHS Alumni John Wegge (2009) is traveling to Coronado Naval Station in San Diego, California to attend Petty Officer Leadership Academy (POLA) advanced training in the USNSCC United States Naval Sea Cadet Corp. He is a member of Alamo Battalion of San Antonio, Texas. He will receive training aboard the LPD 20 USS Green Bay , an amphibious transport dock ship.
